There is a time when everyone is younger and chooses a job based purely on fiscal need and not personal pleasure. However, that doesn't mean employment has to be boring and something to treat as a merely a stepping stone. When I worked as a server, I learned the best ways to engage with customers and help them to feel like we had a personal relationship, and then leave happy. In my career as a tire technician, I learned practical skills like how to disassemble a car, and impractical skills like properly estimating tire life at a glance. All of my prior work experience will lend itself to moments in my life, and it's important to always keep an open mind, and pick up new skills whenever they present themselves.Undergraduate student working on a Bachelor's of Science with a major in Criminal Justice. I hope to eventually find work with a law enforcement agency somewhere out of the state, and see a new part of this country.
