As the RISO for the Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota areas, I manage the information security program for over 30 hospitals and 300 clinics.Duties include but not limited to:* Communicating the security program strategy to board members and executive leadership at each hospital in the system.* Annual risk assessments on equipment and facilities for regulatory reporting.* Manage incident response for any breach or security incident in the region.* Provide oversight for identity access reviews for critical systems in the region.* Assist in policy creation and implementation.* Process development to ensure security is considered in purchasing.* Contract reviews.* Mergers and acquisitions.* Local information security program management.
