The Georgetown Venture Lab is a dedicated workspace for full-time alumni entrepreneurs to launch and grow their businesses with support from the Georgetown Entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Strive annually connects tens of thousands of students with financial need with free, one-to-one mentoring to help them navigate the college and financial aid application process. Students already in college can be matched with a mentor for support to help them graduate and prepare for career opportunities.

Strive for College is a new approach to correcting the inequalities of college access. Strive recruits undergraduate student mentors from local universities and trains them to guide underserved high school students through the process of selecting, applying to, enrolling in and paying for four-year colleges and universities. • Help set overall vision and strategy as a member of the Board of Directors• Set up and managed all internal operations of this startup education nonprofit as founding COO• Strategically planned for operations, development and expansion; wrote business plan• Designed and implemented evaluation plan; developed program metrics• Supported CEO in fundraising and board development efforts; over $2,000,000 raised to date• Recruited, trained and managed a growing national staff• Launched and supported Strive Chapters nationwide; oversaw hundreds of student volunteers• Developed model and curriculum used to double the college-going rates of over 400 high school students directly served• Created technology specifications and oversaw external development• Awarded prestigious Echoing Green Fellowship – 1 of 16 teams from over 2,800 applicants (opted not to receive due to transition from COO to Board)

Rockit was the first online Teaching and Learning platform to provide high-quality, affordable educational programming for Vietnamese students and young professionals who are learning English or soft skills. We raised $500k from top-tier Silicon Valley VCs and Angel Investors. We stopped operations in 2017.● Launched Vietnam’s first online education company designed to improve the employability and English-language skills of Vietnamese young professionals● Raised $500k from top Silicon Valley & New York City venture capitalists and angel investors● Recruited over 2,000 students in first year● Evaluated and trained over 100 teachers

Over 2 years, I lived in Thailand, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina learning more about the educational systems, and the challenges and opportunities they face while preparing their students and institutions for an ever globalizing world. I contributed to many exciting educational projects in a variety of roles.● Designed student support services strategy and wrote funding proposal for a startup online college for low-income students which received a $3m grant from the Gates foundation.● Supported one of the largest global higher education companies in developing their online education strategy for Asia.● Developed business plan and online education strategy for an international student recruitment and consultancy startup company.
