I provide and support a technical infrastructure that assists management and their staff. This includes providing standard technician services for the support staff plus individualized, personal service for upper management in their office or home; anytime, anywhere, as quickly as possible. The work must be done in a timely and sensitive manner, minimizing error, and by the simplest and quickest means possible. I provide technical expertise for upper management. I work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required to resolve problems and make recommendations. I also performs design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems to meet specific personal needs expressed by upper management and their staff. I also perform engineering design evaluations and apply a range of products to meet specific upper management needs. I also recommend alterations to development and design.

Defined requirements for the standardization of technology equipment within temples and managed its global implementation. These duties included the establishment of support relationships and global pricing agreements with external vendors and the management of an annual budget. Performed typical responsibilities on the family farm and dairy, I also developed an interest in how to utilize technology and data to improve farm performance. From early on I had a vision of what technology could mean to agriculture and I am grateful for all the IT knowledge I have acquired and my continued opportunity to apply it to agriculture. Though I am employed in Utah and live a few hours from the farm the internet enables me to help with all of the technology on the farm and continue to experiment with new ways to utilize IoT sensors and data to improve performance.
