Reporting directly to the President of H&CS, this position was responsible for the overall mechanical engineering success of custom automation and robotic systems. During the concept phase, provided input to the sales and applications engineering group for both function and budget. Upon successful sale of projects, I created and managed the entire design schedule through successful project management to meet customer requirements and expectations. To ensure systematic success, this position was also responsible for the creation and maintenance of all design processes, systems, and KPI metrics for the engineering group. Improved KPI metrics through guidance and mentor-ship of the engineering group. Finally, supported the designs throughout the production, acceptance testing, and installation phases of each project.

As part of the core management team, my job was to implement and manage the company's strategic plan objectives within the engineering, quality, sales, and marketing departments. I managed the engineering department by implementing a project planning and management process to provide effective planning and project milestone metrics to measure the performance of each project. I also acted as a mentor and coach for composite product design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing equipment design. My efforts in the quality department were to continuously improve the efficiency of the AS9100C quality system while improving overall quality of parts being produced along with reducing the scrap rate.I worked extensively in sales and marketing at ICE to continue to grow the business and brand while providing more accurate and efficient quoting systems. Based on the strategic plan goals, I created a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to guide all sales efforts for the sales associates while providing and managing a specific budget for all activities. In addition to sales management, I provided direct sales support to multiple key customers in the aerospace, industrial, and oil & gas markets. I also assisted in the launch of ICE's brand new website in September 2014 which has dramatically improved ICE's website presence and search engine optimization (SEO).

The position objective was to direct and influence all aspects of the business with the intention to increase overall sales and market share of GCI’s products worldwide. My approach was to identify the customer’s needs and position GCI to fulfill those needs by whatever means necessary. During my tenure, I led the development of multiple new product lines, improved global sales development and management, and facilitated production improvements to improve quality and lead times for all of GCI’s product offerings. New product line offerings included carbon fiber arm system, AdaptiCS software for error-proofing, and wireless MEMs tracking sensor for tool tracking. I also managed large and special projects that demanded dedicated, full-time attention.

As a direct report to the company owner, the position objective was to find, sell, and manage special projects that fell outside of the core business of GCI. Projects included automation systems, large custom material handling solutions, and error-proofing solutions used on assembly lines. Projects were supplied to a variety of customers including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Caterpillar, GE Aerospace, John Deere, Mercury Marine, and CNH.

Reported to the engineering manager. The position objective was to provide concept drawings and quotes based on quote requests turned in by customers and distributors.

Developed and wrote work instructions for assembly processes on the assembly line.

Developed and performed durability testing on urethane materials used in prosthetic limbs.
