Responsible for the manufacturing of industrial vacuum pump systems for semiconductor manufacturing companies such as Intel, Micron, and Lam. Currently in a dual role where I am a Manufacturing Engineer who reports to the Engineering Manager and assigned work for the engineering department to assist in design and product improvement. Work closely with the Engineering department to develop designs that are Design for Manufacturability (DFM). Managed labor & production efficiency for over one hundred systems with monthly reporting to the Executive team. Reduced production labor hours by 20% through the creation of technician training and documentation. Qualified over 50 First of a Kind (FOK) vacuum pump systems. Developed all vacuum pump system training, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Single Point Lessons.

Continued in my duties I had as a full-time employee, just less time-sensitive projects.

Oversaw production of technical documentation for utility switch designs to include SCADA systems that operated and monitored switch status. Duties included PDM administration and implementation. Created the entire CAD package for a new line of SCADA signal repeater products. Transformed an aluminum weldment part into a CNC subassembly to reduce cost and increase reliability. Created part and assembly drawings for hundreds of parts.
