About Jake Sutherland

Currently working for Cameron Australasia in the Surface department as the Field Service Manager. Specialising in the installation, maintenance and service of Cameron wellheads and associated equipment and supporting our clients in the field on and offshore. My time with Cummins I was providing 24/7 technical support to their customers in multiple industries including, Agriculture, Construction, Defence, Marine, Mining, Oil & Gas, On Highway, Power Generation and Rail. Prior to this, I was working as a Subsea Field Service Engineer for GE Oil & Gas on Chevron’s Gorgon Project, where I contributed to an integral part of installing the subsea infrastructure for the largest single resource development in Australia’s history. During my previous years with Cameron I became a well respected employee with the reliability and skills depended on by our customers all while with a strong focus on my commitment to safety. Throughout my time as a technician for BMW, through my quality of workmanship and natural technical aptitude, I became the number one, apprentice in Australia, and runner up the following year. I consider this a testament to my dedication, attention to detail and technical abilities.I enjoy building a reputation I am proud of, wherever my career takes me. During my numerous lead hand and supervisor roles, I have proved to be extremely capable at managing teams, jobs and whole projects. My teams have worked safely, efficiently and always strived for customer satisfaction. While I must also emphasise, I work well within and as a part of any team, as well as having the ability to focus and reach goals and deadlines individually. I consider myself to have high morals and an exceptional work ethic. My commitment to the clients and customers needs is always at the forefront of any work I undertake and I have always held the safety of myself and fellow employees in the highest regard. I truly believe that I would be an asset to any company.
