In my current role, I am in charge of the sizing, development, negotiation, and execution of a manufacturing test sector for our Power9 processor products. I've been the lead of the development of the processor manufacturing test for boxes such as the LC922 low-end to the E980 scale-out models. Interfacing with executives, application engineers, program management, and the entire engineering team help drive my team to provide solutions, higher yields, and impressive quality to our customers.Other Job Roles Include -Analyzing failures from manufacturing and the field for next-generation server processors. Taking high level fail logs and symptoms and driving problems to root cause. Once the cause is identified, identify procedures or stimulus to force the failure and enhance the manufacturing process. -High-level milestone creation and tracking, resource and headcount requirements, test plan creation, review, execution, and summarization. Tasks including test plan implementation, automation, optimization, and experimentation. Interface with the customer on a weekly basis for hot topic discussion as well as cross-site IBM teams from Design Team to Product Engineering. -Perform characterization on various processors, systems, and environments to ensure the product meets the customer's specifications. Execution of test plan, analyze and publish data, and perform general system bring-up and debug.
