Developed a java-based plugin for Capital Harness to detect and flag complex potential manufacturing issues for vehicle wiring harnesses and save harness design engineers weeks of time by catching the errors automatically. This plugin also helped reduce wiring harness errors during manufacturing by reducing the likelihood of similar wires being confused during assembly. Spent some time reviewing and cleaning up/fixing wiring diagrams for next-generation vehicles.

Co-developed a test buck that housed several ECUs and sensors from the R1 platform to diagnose and troubleshoot first-generation infotainment ECUs. This project involved python, lots of cross-functional communication to gather information and learn about the ECUs and how to access information from them from different teams across the company, and collaboration with the other intern who worked on the project.

Scoped, designed, and built hardware and software to generate time-to-failure and reliability data for high-voltage contactors used in the first-generation R1 battery packs. Worked with high current power supplies, digital acquisition systems, C++, Labjack, current, temperature and voltage sensors, high voltage contactors, and high current cabling and safety. Also worked across time zones with different stakeholders and competing goals to scope the project and come to a final solution.Designed an automated script and hardware setup to generate time-to-failure and analyze reliability for HV components used in Rivian's battery packs.

Developed and led year-long STEM-focused "Maker Club" curriculum for 5th-8th graders at four different schools across Wasco County. After the first year of teaching, revised the curriculum to include more learning for a second year and designed handouts and materials so other educators could incorporate the lessons into their classrooms.
