Software Test Engineer II (Formerly Tekelec, Inc.)Performed functional testing of application, network configuration, and storage management software to be deployed on servers in next-generation (4G) telecom networks, which required a very high level of reliability. Automated testing to achieve broad coverage for many software functions (primarily using PHP, Perl, Bash). Acted as point of contact to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues.Responsible for training, managing, and effectively utilizing interns and new team members.

Built simulator with an easy-to-use LabView interface for electronic control units (ECUs) on Volvo and Mack trucks, using a flexible hardware setup adaptable to any ECU.The simulator now allows the verification group to test ECU functionality in the early stages of development rather than waiting until the component is near completion and could only be tested on an actual truck.

Analyzed radio waves emitted during simulations of a projectile hitting a satellite in space using signal-processing techniques, including wavelet transformations. Programmed a system for automatically filtering signals generating wavelet transformations using R, an open-source statistical language.
