Enweave will cultivate an economy that weaves environmental action into the ordinary so people can focus on the issues that touch their lives more deeply. Our “marketplace on a mission” is a first-of-its kind nonprofit that integrates environmentalism into the things you already do every day, like shopping, banking and running your business. By offering green products at prices equal to their conventional alternatives, rewarding customers for eco-friendly purchases, building up the next wave of responsible brands and creating competition that forces conventional brands to do better, Enweave will use its resources to help extinguish historical environmental injustice by:- expanding access to green products, - reducing emissions in vulnerable communities, - cultivating circular economies, and - creating profound career opportunities in the environmental sector.

- Implemented sustainability initiatives that balance the financial interests of a small cafe and coffee roaster (serving 200+ customers per day, with 100+ retail accounts). - Managed effort to reach zero-waste by facilitating transition to compostable products, auditing and eliminating waste streams, and designing methods for diverting non-compostable, non-recyclable waste. - Executed behavior-change strategy that includes employee training, new cafe signage, customer engagement. - Researched utility regulations, citywide programs, and sources of funding to propose energy-saving measures.

- Drafted and conducted interviews with indigenous artisans to better understand current issues, economic and environmental stressors, and the role of traditional ecological knowledge in artisans’ work. - Composed report for organization’s founders detailing areas of need for local communities and providing potential stories and talking points to market artisans’ work and further the goals of the non-profit.

- Fostered Seven's sense of community by developing customer relationships and supporting local vendors.

Lead signature-gathering events by training volunteers on successful outreach techniques and providing constructive feedback; reported numbers to campaign office and helped identify particularly strong volunteers.

Equipped new employees with skills necessary to perform rigorous, but considerate donor screenings.
