My skill set spans various languages and frameworks, with Rust currently standing out as my active preference.I dedicate a significant portion of my time to maintaining both personal and open-source projects. I find joy in revisiting projects as my knowledge grows, ensuring ongoing refinement and quality.My ideal role involves working with outdated or unmaintained software, whether that means rewriting it using more modern technologies or bridging compatibility gaps between legacy and modern requirements. I'd love to bring Rust into projects, whether through a compatibility layer or with a rewrite in the language, could breathe a fresh air into the project, improving it in many ways, such as performance and eliminating many common bugs that you might encounter with legacy systems through all the guarantees that are offered at a language level.My passion lies in breathing new life into old and legacy systems, as reflected in numerous side projects where I rewrite and improve outdated software, implementing fixes, updates, and improvements. I possess the ability to quickly adapt to projects, gaining a comprehensive understanding of different aspects and inner workings, even when dealing with unfamiliar languages and frameworks.Throughout my time developing, I've successfully revitalized various outdated or aging software pieces, injecting new energy into them. I am currently seeking a position that allows me to work with such systems, be it in backend or frontend roles. While I lean towards backend software due to the significant improvements that can be made, I am equally capable of handling frontend projects.
