I chose to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University in order to dedicate my career to serving others. I strive to empower people to optimize their performance, increase wellness through exercise, and overcome obstacles while solving daily challenges. I also plan to help advance the field of physical therapy beyond traditional practices to ensure the greatest benefit to society is provided.At this point in my career and education, I have enhanced my ability to effectively work with a team of health care professionals to provide optimal treatment to patients by combining relevant education with personalized interventions based off of a comprehensive evaluation, current research, the patient's preferences, and my growing clinical experience. Furthermore, I apply my undergraduate background in business by seeking innovations that can elevate patient care or improve the management of physical therapy.
