• Responsible for managing, coordinating and enforcing HSE requirements significantly reducing possible incidents and injuries on site.• Guide and direct implementation of, and compliance with, HSE Management plan, Hazards and Effects Management Process (HEMP), Coordination / liaison with Emergency Response Management Team (ERT), Incident Investigation and Reporting (IIR) activities and Environmental and Occupational Health management.• Conducting Health and safety inspections (HSI).• Conduct Audits to ensure compliance with the Occupational health and safety act, Coid act and client specifications.• Preparation of a Health and safety plan and Implementation of that specific plan.• Attend project planning meetings / Chairperson for most safety meetings • Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors • Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans • Assist with the evaluation of the contractor(s) competencies, knowledge and resources to carry out the works safely.• Overall Health and safety Management and risk Management at the Ferro Eleganza Workshop and different projects.• Manage/Monitor all driven machinery/lifting Machinery owned by Ferro Eleganza.

Responsibilities• Attend site tender clarification meetings with Clients• Assist in the preparation of project specific health and safety documentation for distribution to contractors for inclusion into their tender submissions • Assist with the evaluation of the contractor(s) competencies, knowledge and resources to carry out the works safely • Preparation of contract documentation related to health and safety requirements for approval and signature • Preparation of a construction health and safety plan • Confirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities • Attend project planning meetings • Assessments and approval Client’s health and safety plans • Attend site handover Meetings• Attend regular site, technical and progress meetings • Facilitate site health and safety meetings • Identification of the hazards and risks relevant to the construction project through regular coordinated site inspections • Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors • Compiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plans • Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans • Conduct site safety inductions• Auditing of Sub-Contractors & Principal contractors.

Responsibilities:• Investigate and reclaim stolen stock.• Double checking loads before leaving the site.• Incident investigations.• Assisted with health and safety issues on site.• Questioning of suspected employees and obtaining statements.• Escorting trucks to different clients to ensure a safe journey.• Monitor & auditing all driven machinery/lifting machinery on the premises to ensure all required documentation and competent operators are in place.
