I am part of a team that is developing the Hyrax 3D Printer. It is the most affordable metal 3D printer in its class. I am responsible for the software development, hardware development and integration.

With the Aeroswift machine's software matured to a level where the machine is capable of producing parts in line with world standards my focus area expanded to the operational management of the Aeroswift machine. This includes all the actions required to ensure that the machine is operating at full capacity, performing constant software refactoring and debugging (as issues arise) and interfacing with clients. My ultimate goal in this role is to meet with clients, apply my knowledge of metal 3D printing by going through a number of iterations at design level to optimize the printing of the part, prepare the machine for manufacturing and ensuring that the finished part meets the clients standards and requirements.

Responsible for all software applications relating to the Aeroswift project. This includes the software control system, CAD part analizer and pre-processor, build file generation software, operating software and additional software components such as Human machine interface and a comprehensive data monitoring and logging software system.
