I am responsible for the qualitative and quantitative growth and continuity of our establishment in Hengelo. Our goal is to help industrial organisations improve their performance in the fields of mechanical engineering, product engineering and industrial projects – fields in which we strive to excel.

The Engineering Analysis department is specialised in the execution of simulations and analyses using the Finite Element method. Using this method, an important step towards the optimal final design can already be made during the draft phase. By applying simulations, the lead time is shortened and materials costs and production costs, for instance, are cut. We performed projects for customers all around the world. Through videoconferencing, telephone conference, WebEx, secure data transfer, we are able to remotely collaborate with our clients.In the first two and a halve years I managed the department over three establishments, Hengelo (head office), Arnhem and Echt. During this time I standardized working procedures and project processes, realized growth and unified the departments so that present knowledge could be accessed at all establishments. The tasks included: making calculations and quotations, department planning, project monitoring, project management, assessment interviews, performance appraisals, hiring staff, account management and acquisition.

As Team Leader I was responsible for the planning, release of quotations, performance appraisals, assessment interviews, project monitoring, etc.

Performing linear, non-linear static analysis, modal analysis, etc. by applying Finite Element Analysis using Femap . Performing static, dynamic, fatigue, stability, etc. assessments of the results according to ASME, FKM, EN, etc. Performing pipe stress analysis using Caesar and code calculations using DIMy according to BS, ASME, AD – Markblätter, etc.
