Executed the launch and operations of Startup Grind Wichita. The cornerstone of Startup Grind are the monthly events featuring successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors who share lessons learned on the road to building great companies. In our first three years of operation (2017/2018/2019) we have held 30 events with over 4,000 in attendance, which ranked us in the top 1% among the 600 Startup Grind communities around the world. In addition to the e2e Accelerator, I partnered with Wichita State University to develop and design LaunchPrep, a program that provides early-stage companies access to a select group of Wichita's most successful entrepreneurs through one-on-one mentorship that enables the entrepreneur to get their venture off the ground. After 20 months, I recruited and accelerated the growth of 19 early-stage companies ranging from emerging technologies to disruptive healthcare to construction innovation to new age consumer products, facilitated over $1,000,000 in angel investing, aligned entrepreneurs with experienced mentors by building effective relationships, and launched multiple entrepreneurial-related programs.
