MSc Masters of Science in Engineering Mathematics with Merit. 1st Class Honours in BEng Mechanical Engineering with certificate of Professional Industrial Experience. Awarded the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Frederic Barnes Waldren Best Student Award, and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers: IMechE Project Award.I work as a Strategic Systems Engineer at Babcock. I have worked for nearly 2 years a Quay Dyno Services as a Design Engineer. I have developed complex hardware and systems from the concept stage, all the way to technical drawings for manufacture.I have completed a 12 month placement at GE Aviation as a Aerospace engineering Intern to gain further experience in the industry. I have experience with using CAD and hold a certification in Solidworks Associate level, I hope to further advance to Professional level by the end of this year. I possess a full qualification as a Car Mechanic, giving me an understanding of advance mechanical principles in a practical setting. Previous employment and involvement with the University of Plymouth has greatly developed my soft skills. Employment in the Royal National Lifeboat institution has required me to adopt their core values of being trustworthy, courageous, selfless and dependable. My role as a course representative for the BEng Course in my university has increased my confidence and verbal /written communication skills, being required to attend faculty meetings and carry out other duties on a weekly basis. I have been actively involved in volunteering, participating in events such as No Shoes for November and The Wave Project.
