Born in Cape Breton and raised in Halifax, with stints in Vancouver and Toronto, I mostly live and work in the Yukon.I direct and make theatre and design processes for finding better questions. This often involves facilitating, writing, coaching, performing and serving as a dramaturge. In 2001 I founded Small Wooden Shoe Planning and Performance, a (mostly) theatre company that engages with the world while maintaining the imperative to perform – to step up and to entertain. Small Wooden Shoe projects prove that good ideas can be entertaining and that pleasure and critique require each other.
