Master Thesis
Title: Development of polymeric microfluidic scintillation detectors.The main goal of my master thesis was to develop a process flow for the fabrication of polymeric microfluidic channels made in PMMA, by using the technique of the in-situ polymerization. PMMA was polymerized inside molds, that were fabricated in clean room, following a LIGA-like process. Channels will be used as microfluidic scintillation particle detectors at CERN.

Title: Simulation and characterization of optical waveguides.During this internship simulation and spectrum analysis of optical waveguides of real devices are performed, in order to extract important features as cut off wavelengths.
