Submitted and successfully defended extension of time and additional compensation claims amounting to 6% of the contract value in adjudication.• Successfully led the relocation of the company which included property acquisition and infrastructure development. Operations closed in Mahikeng in December 2017 and full operations resumed in Pretoria in January 2018.Quantibuild is a civil construction company with revenues of up to R 85 million and a workforce of 200 people. I reported directly to the CEO and oversaw all projects and yard activities with the Site Agents and and yard personnel reporting to me. Highlights• Automating the extraction of piping requisitions and BOQ’s from 3D modelling software, which was previously done manually from 2D drawings, thus saving 70% of the man-hours allocated to this process. • Working in the team that successfully completed the detail designs of the Kenmare MOMA Mineral Sands Expansion Project as well as the Grootte Geluk Medupi Expansion Project.Aveng E+PC specialised in mining and minerals projects for a number of clients including Exxaro and Goldfields. I was tasked with checking pipe routes for mining and minerals projects in 3D model reviews and reported to the the Lead Piping Engineer. • Build piping line classes in accordance with client specifications.• Execute material take-offs from P&ID’s.• Assist in determining piping estimates for feasibility studies and preparing piping procurement documentation for detail designs.
