In 2012 while on summer break from college I began a teller position at my hometown bank. Little did I know that almost ten years later my summer job would lead me down the path to my current career. Over my years in the banking industry I have had the opportunity to master my skills in retail banking starting on the teller line and later advancing to a banker. On the teller line I honed my customer service and problem solving skills. Those skills helped me to learn new concepts as a banker and allowed me to learn new skills such as account opening & maintenance and loan principals & guidelines. In 2020 the banking industry and business owners were introduced to the PPP loan. During this time I worked closely with my organization’s credit department analyzing business owners current financials with the goal in mind of qualifying each one in need for a PPP loan. This continued into 2021 and lead me to my career as a credit analyst. In late 2022 I decided to further expand my overall banking knowledge and took my current position as an Administrative Services Officer working closely with my company’s legal, fraud, & finance teams.
