Sustainable Collective At Curtin is a student lead Guild club that aims to foster a sustainable Curtin community, encourage curiosity around sustainability, and promote access to sustainable ways of living both on-campus and in life. We aim to achieve this by delivering sustainable education and sustainable solutions on-campus, where sustainability can be explored in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

As a quoting officer I was the first point of contact for many clients, be it private land owners of a single house; large farms or even hotel. I also spoke with large corporations including banks, lenders, brokers, government sectors and law firms. I liaised with clients, conversing with them to determine what type of report they required, and from there I could provide an accurate quote along with our terms and conditions. My role in the quotes team also included following up with clients; ensuring they were happy with our service, asking for feedback and building the relationship between Opteon and clients to the best of my ability.

As a booking coordinator I was managing multiple valuers calendars. My role included insuring the valuers had strong streamlined runs, that reduced travel time and increased the efficiency of the valuers day, while ensuring deadlines and TATs were met.At the time the role also included ensuring all documentation required to complete reports was present and accounted for. I also reviewed these documents and prepared jobs for valuers.Originally I was booking for Perth metropolitan areas, however as Opteon grew I took on new areas such as South West regions of WA and South Australia.

I was part of two teams, the Incentives Team, which would review applications for Federal Government Incentives and Loans. My role was to determine eligibility for these through government guidelines. Process and pay incentives, or approve loans, process the forms, and issue reports to clients on outstanding incentives owed to them.In the Contracts Team I would review Government Contracts, enter them into State and Federal data bases, or return them if the needed to be amended.
