•Evaluate project risks and select the appropriate combination of risk retention and risk transfer techniques for Bechtel projects, where services begin with the proposal stage and continues until completion of all project activity•Participate in contract negotiations with owner, customer, subcontractors, suppliers, and lenders concerning risk allocation, including commercial negotiations on insurance costs•Recommend contractual language related to project insurances and risk allocation, including agreements in support of subcontracts, procurement, and travel & logistics•Implement risk financing and insurance programs for global projects ranging from $500m-$15bn in value.•Participate in ongoing dialogues with Bechtel insurers and brokers regarding project insurance programs, focused on Construction All-Risk (including Windstorm), Commercial General Liability, Excess Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Employers Liability, Construction Equipment insurance, Marine Cargo, Delay in Startup, Marine Liability and Aviation Liability coverages.•Assist projects in preparing insurance claim information and facilitating/attending insurance adjuster meetings•Participate with Owners’ Risk Managers, and potential JV partners, various Insurers’ representatives, and internal project representatives in support of project insurance programs and related reporting requirements•Manage / Support active Controlled Insurance Program(s) (CCIP or OCIP) on projects in execution•Review subcontractor and vendor insurance submittals for compliance to executed agreements•Oversee multiple corporate insurance renewals
