Strategic, healthcare leader with over 25 years combined clinical and operational experience. Currently, I am the Clinical Leader Manager within the St. Michael's Academic Family Health Team in Toronto, Ontario. I have oversight of two primary care clinics, Sumac Creek Health Centre and Wellesley St. James Town Health Centre, which includes direct reporting relationships with over 80 interdisciplinary staff. I led the opening of the Sumac Creek Health Centre in Regent Park, and I recently amalgamated two primary care clinics into the now St. James Town Health Centre. Inspired by principles of diversity and inclusions, I have a proven track record of building and leading diverse teams. I have experience with Board Governance, I currently serve as President for JCAN, a Not for Profit organization that uses health equity approaches to impact the health of Black communities, and I am a Board member of the Inner City Family Health Team
