I lead, instruct, and support groups of people as they learn wood working skills and techniques to create unique home decor pieces.

• Performed a variety of high-level administrative tasks, which may include scheduling, reporting and tracking data for the Medaille College-Riverside High School Partnership. • Provided direct support to the Medaille College Program Liaison. • Coordinated multiple diverse projects with several variables, set realistic deadlines, and managed timelines. This included interaction with all members within the team, students, parents and fellow RHS teachers. These responsibilities required discretion, judgment and tact. • Participated in the C.A.R.E (Cultivating Awareness Relationships and Excellence) Course for three class periods during the day to assist students with social/life skills and career and college readiness. The course specifically focused on entrepreneurship, finance, and health sciences. • Provided emotional guidance to students to keep them on track for completion of assignments and graduation. Provided direct assistance to students with job search resources and the college application process. • Mentored multiple students, building relationships that identified and promoted student strengths. This required addressing student risk factors and challenges that could hinder student success. This role required someone to be a consistent caring adult in the student's life. • Managed the Entrepreneurship Club. This club requires students to create their own social enterprise business. Guided the students in creating a business plan, and manufactured their product. • Assisted in hosting a two week program called ACE (Academy of Creative Entrepreneurship) which encouraged students to learn more about environmental entrepreneurship by inspiring students to re-imagine Buffalo’s waterways. • Led students in the Culture Pride Club, an organization that encourages a diverse student population to share their culture and learn about others in a safe environment.
