My work with Suicide Attempt Survivors and we have an actively growing Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/1539849306274449/It is a closed group but if you work with this population, you are welcome so ask for an invite in. We have over 400 members from all over the world, and it is a diverse group of courageous folks.Will be presenting workshops on working with Suicidal People soon, and working on a small bookley about creative interventions with suicidal folks and their family/friends.I have been an educator in Higher Education for 14 years now, and have taught both undergraduate graduate students. I teach all levels of courses in Psychology, Human Services, Substance Abuse and Couple/Family therapy. While I have never been a counselor in a Higher Ed setting, I have 25 years of clinical experience and would love to work in any college setting! MINT trainer since 2000, and was trained by Bill Miller, Terri Moyers and David Rosengren. Since then, I have presented and conducted many trainings in MI in Mental Health, Substance Abuse, SBIRT, Supervision, Telephonic Coaching, Education, Harm Reduction, Families, Hypnotherapy, Smoking Cessation and Adolescents/Adults/Older Adults.MITI 3.1 Coding Trainer and Coder. Trained and have worked with Jennifer Knapp Manuel and Terri Moyers.
