- Established a technology-focused disease-agnostic molecular biology institute and raised over $260M for collaborative scientific research.- Facilitated the QBI Coronavirus Research Group pandemic effort, with over 300 laboratories worldwide working together, which identified COVID-19 treatments, 2 of which are in clinical trials. This secured the largest grant in UCSF’s history in 2022: $67.7M for 3 years, with potential for $112M over 5 years.- Developed branding and communications strategy, launched QBI TV, QBI in Space, multiple podcasts, and exhibits, which upsold the institute and led to NIH funding, philanthropic giving, and industry contracts and partnerships.- Built up QBI’s revenue from $300K in 2017 to $42M in 2023.- Instituted a network of expert scientists in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa covering cancer, infectious diseases, psychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases.- Launched the Institut Pasteur – QBI joint venture in the US, focused on prevention of future outbreaks and increasing pandemic preparedness. - In the aftermath of the earthquake, implemented a sustainable development project to create food chains, deliver electricity, and build infrastructure in the south of the country. - Built a core team of 28 people in rural Haiti and hired a team of experts in agroforestry, fisheries, energy, infrastructure, and government capacity building.- Formed agriculture and fisheries co-ops, guided micro-financing process, built supply chains enabling local communities to make a sustainable living. Built the first electric grids in various villages and brought electricity to homes and businesses for the first time, changing the Haitian people’s ability to store food, run businesses, and study. - Managed $5M budget.

- Arrived immediately after the earthquake to participate in recovery efforts for Haiti focused on K-12 education by offering 50 refugee children an international, private-school level education, full medical care, housing, tutoring, meal plan, and all other necessary resources.- The mission of the school is to create Haiti’s future leaders.- The students have excelled each year in both national and international evaluations. The first group of 10 students graduated in 2023 with prospects for local and international university enrollment. - Founded the non-profit entity, raised funding, structured operations, logistics, Standard Operating Procedures, and the board of directors.
