In 2011, my family and I relocated to the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Immersing myself in the active, outdoor lifestyle of Steamboat inspired me to pursue a lifelong passion of health and fitness coaching. I currently teach Les Mills Bodypump, Yoga Sculpt, lead Baptiste inspired power yoga classes and am an aspiring Ancestral Health Coach.My previous background is in university administration and international student services. I served in these roles for over six years working directly with students, families, faculty and staff. I have authored several publications advertising university academic services and have conducted numerous seminars for students entering college with undeclared majors and their families. I have managed a university academic support center and led a course designed to assimilate freshman international students into university life and American culture. Although I enjoyed these roles and thrived in the culture of higher education, I left my position in 2005 to stay at home with my young children. During this time I was an active volunteer in my community as a member of the Junior League of Evansville. I served on the membership enrichment committee, project development committee and chair of membership training. Additionally, I have been a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Evansville, serving on the gala committee, assisting with meals, and implementing a program to teach children about starting and running their own business. I have served on the Multiple Sclerosis Society Luncheon Committee and as a team captain for the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk.I am co-owner of Harrell HR Consulting responsible for marketing. Harrell HR Consulting provides resume assistance, interview prep, recruitment, company strategy, compliance, executive coaching, employee manual authorship and design.
