Developing the reporting capability and capacity of the HR function to ensure the company Directors have monthly management data on turnover/ absence figures and headcounts. Charged with the implementation of new systems, procedures and working practices where relevant. Updating procedures in line with changes in legislations and writing and implementing new initiatives. Overseeing the recruitment and selection of both salaried and hourly paid staff and providing advice on the best sources of recruitment advertising dependant on location and market forces. Ensuring all contracts of employment for monthly staff are compiled in accordance with their package and new starts are successfully inducted into their roles. Oversee and assist in the day-to-day maintenance of HR and payroll databases.Ensure all data is processed in line with GDPR regulations.Provide training where required with managers on HR policies and procedures.Focal point for all benefits queries and providing reports for benefits to the provider.Responsible for the development of HR team members. Recruited specifically to set up and develop the HR department with a view to implementing systems where none previously existed. Initial duties included:Organised the compilation of standard terms and conditions to all staff, addressing any HR issues that emerged in consultation with those affected.Set up and rolled out to all staff a comprehensive Personnel Manual detailing all procedures and policies together with all necessary supporting documentation.Ensured all basic compliance requirements were met through the setting up of employee personnel files, together with new templates and documentation where required.Designed and introduced new HR related processes (for example Induction).Coached General Managers in new Recruitment and Selection processes, ensuring best practice was adhered to.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Home Office/ Immigration requirements and educating General Managers on the specifics of these requirements.

Sourcing candidates for technical and/or engineering positions and interviewing as and when appropriate. Responsible for compiling terms and conditions of employment and negotiating rates/ fees etc with clients.Providing advice and guidance on cvs and career possibilities for ‘on spec’ candidates and updating and administering the in house recruitment database
