Alongside my co-lead, I organize the local Syracuse, NY chapter of the Black Excellence Council (BEC) Business Resource Group (BRG) consisting of currently 84 members. Our goal is to provide a collaborative environment to foster networking, professional development, and sharing of experiences.Achievements: • Hosted the 2020 Black History Month Celebration event accommodating 150+ employees and promoting local talent including our 100 Black Men organization, CEO of Gwen Inc, and spoken word.• Created a virtual educational series honoring black excellence throughout history, further describing their life and philosophy to encourage employees to reflect on their own approach to diversity & inclusionCurrent Goal: Establish relationship with strategic functional partners (Human Resources, Business Development, etc.) and other site chapters to create diverse yet pertinent virtual events for BRG members in light of the COVID-19 work environment shift.

The TDC Coordinator assists in conceptualizing and implementing the RMS Technical Development Curriculum (TDC) for the business area’s Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP). In 2020-2021, this role oversaw technical development for 162 early-career employees.Achievements:• Organized 39 lectures featuring technical fellows and directors in alignment with RMS Advanced Technologies.• Developed academic curriculum and schedule with Cornell University faculty to present relevant Systems Engineering content.• Implemented annual lifecycle project for 68 first-year ELDPs to introduce and familiarize them with the industry’s proposal & execution standards, processes, and tools.

I worked as a Systems Engineer focusing on requirements, SysML modeling, and use case development for several IPTs. Of particular interest, this role required working in an Agile environment to participate in daily scrums and release & sprint planning. Achievements:• Demonstrated adaptive work ethic working in parallel with software engineers to not only execute our feature on time and as scheduled, but being able to pull in a whole release early.• Introduced improved process communication methodology for Systems Engineering department.

My first role as a full-time employee supported two classified contracts with a focus on system performance analysis through MATLAB (and other programs as necessary).Achievements:• Demonstrated trainer system performance through custom MATLAB scripts directly for the customer alongside our Engineering Program Manager.• Delivered Software Requirements Specification Contract Data Requirements List on time, capturing updated and derived requirements.• Devised and executed system tests to support completion of Component Qualification Test event

• Collaborated with Associate Dean monthly to identify and solve common hindrances impacting minority students• Organized informational sessions to introduce AMIE network of opportunities to underclassmen
