What began as a hobby of dressing friends for dance performances evolved into a thrilling venture into luxury lingerie design. I experimented with unique materials and techniques to create bold, unconventional lingerie. Inspired by lauhala weaving and Native Hawaiian craftsmanship, my Lattice line featured lingerie elastic woven with rings for a custom fit, resulting in a glamorous and luxurious collection. The Black line utilized water-jet cut neoprene to accentuate curves with strategically placed lines, offering both comfort and a one-size-fits-most fit (0-12) for broad accessibility.My designs received acclaim from photographers and stylists, establishing the brand as an independent luxury lingerie label. Featured on numerous celebrities and music videos, including FKA Twigs, Sufjan Stevens, Sarah Barthel (Phantogram), Azealia Banks, and Kat Graham, the brand garnered press in The New York Post, GQ India, Vogue Korea, and more. Notably, I was selected as one of 35 design entrepreneurs from 255 applicants for the DENYC Masters Level Business Development program in 2014 and was featured in an August 2014 article in The New York Post.

Managed the design, direction, and merchandising for Bebe Handbags in the mass market tier, growing the license from zero to $25M in annual wholesale shipments and becoming the top-performing Bebe licensee. Designed and opened the NY Showroom/Office in 2017 while overseeing the design team in Los Angeles. Collaborated with buyers to offer exclusive products, including Bebe Sport, Bebe Active, Bebe Diaper Bags, Bebe Cosmetics, Catherine Malandrino PU Line, and Catherine Malandrino Diaper Bags. Achieved a best-selling style with over 180,000 units sold.

Elevated the Elle handbag brand to the top position at Kohl’s, achieving $10.1M in wholesale shipments for 2011, while the Sienna Ricchi brand generated $8.7M. Successfully launched the Jennifer Lopez handbag line, securing $7.3M in wholesale shipments within six weeks, with coverage in Glamour, People Style Watch, and O Magazine, and included in TV ads. Trained under Kathy Van Zeeland and Bruce Makowsky until 2010. Designs were prominently featured in Kohl’s handbag Look Books and ads/mailers, as well as in Elle magazine. The team expanded from three to eight members upon resignation.

Designed the Kohl's exclusive line for Daisy Fuentes handbags.

Promoted to a managerial role within nine months, supervising two designers and leading the design of various handbag lines, including Paris Hilton, “Starlet” by Paris Hilton, Gurlz Luv Bags, Morgan Bay, and T3J. Achieved the company’s first press feature in CosmoGIRL!.

Designed mass-market junior handbag and small leather goods lines, including Angels, Tyte, and other specialty projects.

Stylish and discreet dog carriers that seamlessly combined design with function. "Doggie Wardrobe" featured in The New York Dog in March 2005.

Coordinated three major group events and assisted with 20 others in the office.
