Led, enhanced and grew tuition-based progressive preschool, nestled within downtown community center. Grew school 250% from 40 to 100 children, and increased revenue 400% from $500K to $2M.

Reinvisioned former Duane Reade into inspired and functional space for young children to thrive and play. Conceptualized and designed physical layout of the school in partnership with architect, contractor, and interior designer. Selected and purchased all furniture and supplies with beauty, sustainability, safety and children’s innate capabilities in mind.Achieved and implemented all functions pertaining to building a new school: hired teachers, recruited and enrolled families, completed licensing process, developed relationships with other infant + toddler and nursery schools, created staff development, established advisory board.Managed start-up budget of $1M and operating budget of $2M.
