Murado builds immersive cinematic experiences and storytelling platforms that authentically reflect the lived experiences of Latinos while using profit-sharing models that reward investors and the communities that drive Murado’s success.Prior to Murado, Jacqueline served as the CEO of the Latino Community Foundation (LCF), where she raised over $100 million to advance the civic and economic power of Latinos and built the largest network of Latino philanthropists in the U.S. Under her leadership, LCF leveraged $700 million in federal resources for programs benefiting farmworkers, Latina entrepreneurs, and immigrant families, while investing in nearly 400 grassroots organizations across California. Her efforts earned her national recognition, including being honored at Variety’s Power of Women event and receiving Google’s Social Impact Award in 2022. She’s also been recognized as one of the Most Influential Women In Business in 2017 and Most Admired CEO in 2022 by the San Francisco Business Times. Jacqueline’s career began in New York City, where she led initiatives to make healthcare accessible to all New Yorkers, securing over $80 million in public and private funding and centering communities to shape how resources were allocated.Jacqueline has published extensively on health equity and community well-being. She has been an NIH fellow in Mexico and was appointed adjunct professor at New York University Global Institute of Public Health and the Social Science Department of the Borough of Manhattan Community College. Currently, she serves on the Board of the David Rockefeller Fund, Independent Sector, Equis Institute, Aqui-Latino Accountability Movement, and Forward Stride.With a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, Jacqueline continues to disrupt norms, create innovative models that deliver results, and invest in people-powered movements to sustain positive change.
