I got my TESOL degree (teaching English as a Second Language) at NOVA COMMUNITY COLLEGE in Woodbridge, VA. I completed 13 courses. My interest in studying and speaking English began very early in my life when I was a small child in elementary school. When I was in middle school I began studying English seriously and went to a separate school. In 1986 I cameto The USA to study and practice English for one year. I had private lessons with the people I lived with and worked as a nanny as well. In 1988 I went to live in England for three months to study British English and work. I finished my English Studies in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and got my degrees at several specialized Schools. My primary interest is in teaching English as a second language to foreigners. At the moment, I am not working in this field, but I am working from home as a gourmet truffle maker and I sell truffles. I have a Food Cottage. I taught English as a second language in private schools, offices, and at home in Sao Paulo, Brazil for 12 years, from 1988 to 2000. I began at a School and I taught there for one year before moving to England to study and work for a few months. I wanted to improve my British accent and pronunciation. In addition to teaching, I also volunteered in community projects and participated in several organizations in the local area where I live. I also taught a teenager who stayed with us in 2016 who wanted to learn English for 40 days. It was a good experience for me. I speak Portuguese, which is my native language, English, some Italian and some French.
