About Jacqueline Meyer Goldman
I am a lawyer who has led a team of other lawyers and paralegals in the corporate sector, helped numerous individuals resolve their legal issues and taught legal courses to undergraduate and graduate students. Respect for others and a desire to empower are my guiding principles. My current position as a team lead in the mortgage industry has given me an inside view of the commercial mortgage industry, an opportunity to engage with professionals in every department of the organization and the chance to lead a team of legal professionals as they support the commercial loan approval process. I thoroughly enjoy my work and using my leadership, communication and teaching skills.As an attorney I work to make sure that my clients understand their legal situations and feel prepared to make decisions in their best interest. This requires listening carefully to their stories and noting their concerns and desired outcomes in addition to researching and analyzing the law as applies to their situation. I have successfully assisted clients in in a variety of areas, including contract review, child custody disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate matters and estate planning.As an instructor I help students succeed by maintaining a positive space where students are encouraged to respect one another while they learn key concepts, ask questions and challenge themselves. I welcome student questions and present prompt assignment feedback tailored the individual student’s needs and challenges. I have also taught coworkers to use complex real estate software programs by designing materials and samples they could easily refer to when working on their own.
