It was my duty to make our clients happy and create a purple cow effect. I would direct the clients to the right person for them to receive assistance and direct the flow of walk in traffic. This office is in the same building of a competing State Farm and so directing clients to the correct office was processed as a warm transfer. I would say the most important role of my job was retention. I would work all late-payment activities. This included making follow up activities from our clearing house websites. The second most important aspect of my job was cross selling. I tried to take on any task that I could complete quickly because in the front desk you need to multitask. I would assist in processing documentation and certificates for my coworkers so that they could work more on sales. My personal goal was to make a team and where together we would be able to accomplish more. My vision was to have the clients feel that they could come to us for all aspects and changes to their lives. Some of the outstanding accomplishments I did for this position was creating a proposal for a commercial business client in 2 hours after receiving the quote from a coworker. –At request of my boss. Write an entire presentation on a book that was not given to me and present it to the office at the end of the year meeting. I also only had a week to put together the entire end of the year presentation, renegotiate the contract with the hotel for our use of technology, and research all of the notes that were given to me by my employer. I have been given the tasks of finding photos, being sent out to retrieve photos and editing photos for clearing house and flood policies. I have closed out 5 subscriptions that my boss tried out and saved us thousands of dollars. I have come in on a Saturday and learned how to do our deposit, searched for $10,000 in checks and assisted my boss in making that full amount before the corporation withdrew from the account .

As processor, I had many facets to my job. The normal ones of taking payment, processing changes to documents and reviewing policies while explaining coverages or policies. The second main role was to review the agent’s quotes and process the quotes into polices. After the policies were sent to the client I would log the agent’s commission from that company and look after that policy to avoid underwriting complications. All CSR based employees would assist in the duties of the receptionist as well. This would include transferring a high volume of calls while recording them. Incoming and outgoing mail would be maintained. Pulling outstanding underwriting documents from Insurance company’s websites. Opening and closing the office. The rewrite specialist title came with contacting the insured to verify and record their current insurance needs. After that I would give the documentation to a senior agent to shop the policies. I was in charge of monitoring the senior agents output and work load so we could meet the customer’s expectations. Lastly I would also generate leads front the current book of business. I was the only agent to call over 100 clients in one month for cross selling. The average was around 18 calls that month. One of the most integral operations I was a part of was renegotiating the contract for the cleaning crew. I had created a list of all of the tasks that should be done and all of the extra items that still needed care. After rating their current work, the president of the company decided to go with another outsourced business. It was easier to negotiate once we had determined that there were gaps in the contract and sanitation requirements that were not being met. In this position I was working with the program Tam, Microsoft outlook, adobe, and with over 30 different insurance companies.

Life Insurance was my first assignment while at Ted Todd. I was the only agent who was allowed to write policies because of my skill sets in working a year before hand in the field. During the time I had this assignment I would be traveling between 4 offices, servicing currently enforced life insurance policies, and creating a curriculum and learning materials to then teach other agents in the office not only how to sell life insurance but the differences between the types or products. The Next assignment I was placed on was as a cold caller communicator. As we received leads and were exposed to different systems, I would adapt to the program and then call the individuals for quotes.Lastly, I was placed in the Cape Coral office as the customer service and manager of that office. When customers visited the office I would sit down with them for insurance reviews, claims, and endorsements. Then at the end of the visit I would cross sell a line of business that they currently didn't have or had at a competitor.
