I joined Tui back in June 2018, as I wanted to use the knowledge from working on board Fred Olsen cruise ships and to use my personal experience and learn a new set of skills selling holidays and cruises. My role as a travel advisor is helping our customers find their dream holiday, making sure their dream holiday is also protected with travel insurance and any other additional services they need, for example selling holiday extras, such as excursions, car parking, and upgrades on flights and at airports. My Tui welcome to our store was recognised as one of the best welcoming of our region by the senior manager for the region and also made me film this to show other employees how to welcome our customers to our stores.• Within a year I have increased our stores cruise sales for Marella and also third party cruise liners we sell by 550%. • I won cruise expert for our region of the year. • I was also in the top 20 of the company for selling the most 3rd party cruises. • Have great understanding of all our systems we use within Tui and also 3rd party systems for other companies that we sell, for example Celebrity Central, Club Royal, for Royal Caribbean and Polar, which is used for Cunard, P&O and Princess Cruises. • Completed all my training for all of the 3rd party cruise companies we use and I am a commadore for Princess, P&O Cruises, Cunard and also MSC cruises. • Full understanding of compliance and auditing within our company, which we have training for monthly. • I have been on ship visits in my own time so I can get a better understanding of the cruise liners we are selling, I was fortunate enough to be invited on a day ship visit on board Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, which really helped my knowledge of understanding Cunard Cruises more, which has also helped me sell Cunard cruises to our customers.• Understanding and ability to sell currency in our bureau • Deal with complaints and queries our customers may have.

• Senior Officer in charge of Entertainments, working in conjunction with the Hotel Manager to ensure an enjoyable and memorable time onboard.• Liaise and manage a team of up to 45 people including cruise staff, production company, technicians, resident entertainers, guests artists and acts, guest speakers and instructors.• Act as liaison officer between the Captain and the guests • Master of Ceremonies for shows and cabarets. In charge of four venues around the ship.• Communicating via the PA system any emergency situation onboard including lifeboat drills for embarking guests • Establish a close co-operation with Executive Chef, Maitre D’ and Bar Manager to arrange and assist in special events and evenings. Act as host to all events• Compile the Cruise planner for each cruise including daily/evening activities for Cruise Staff, Cabaret artists, visiting Speakers and all public events.

• As Deputy, assisting the Cruise Director in operating the Entertainment Dept. within the policies given, which includes all activities and assignment of staff to right place at right time. • Supervise and arrange staff for all “Meet and Greet” activities, in particular Embarkation and Disembarkation days. • Act as requested by the Cruise Director to be Master of Ceremonies for shows, stage presentations and activities. • Assisting Stage Manager in storing and maintenance of technical equipment, also together with Stage Manager make a monthly inventory and status list on technical and the various games and props within the Entertainment Department.

North Wales

• Performing up to 8 x 45 minute production shows to consistently high standards.• Being able to dance ballroom and sequence dancing with our guests.• Carrying out duties for the guests, such as bingo, quizzes and daytime activities.• In charge of staffing the rota’s and planning the entertainments programs.• Perform any special duty as requested by the Entertainments Manager.• Ensure all hosts/ hostesses are following the guidelines given by the Entertainments Manager.• Meet & Greet, welcoming guests to the Hotel. Socializing with guests.• Assisting with Sound and Light for visiting Cabaret Artists.• Act as requested by the Entertainments Manager to be the Master of Ceremonies for show time.
