Overseeing monthly billing system processes and running processes as needed to bill customers globally. Daily tasks are to include building new configurations for our billing system, Metranet, confirming and changing requirements in vertex for tax purposes, and running tests for quality assurance when new configurations are introduced. This position requires teamwork as well as individual focus and initiative. My responsibilities are as follows: ● Support all internal Billing Operations activities and projects.● Initiate and manage requests for enhancements and modifications of systems to meet the changing needs of Finance. Including defining requirements, tracking development, performing setups or coordinating UAT (user acceptance testing).● Apply quality assurance principles and methodologies to define test approaches and test plans.● Analyze and trend data from multiple billing platforms.● Set up and maintain user access to Finance systems, including the development of security profiles.● Attend sprint meetings, participate in scrum processes by updating teams on the testing state of current user stories, and follow through completion of those user stories. ● Identifies new fee builds in need of Regulatory Rule Filings and follows proper procedures for the process of those fees.● Provide ad-hoc reports to billing for end of month invoicing needs when needed. Responsible for ensuring customers are properly billed for the services to which they have subscribed by supporting billing systems ICOMS and CSG through audit.
