There is always time to heal through PLAY! As Founder and Executive Director of The PLAYGROUNDgr, I'm proud to be playing a role in shifting our culture to understanding, play is essential. I've loved bringing play for all ages to our community through our PODCAST PLAYGROUNDgr Podcast! We see the value in continuing to share the value of play, and are thrilled to have guests sharing their own experiences with play in THEIR world! I am also a licensed clinical social worker & RPT ™️. I specialize in grief, trauma and pediatric mental health. I have worked with children for over 19 years, and been a foster parent for the past 11 years. Before moving back to the Midwest, I founded Stand Up For Kids Olympia Chapter and developed a passion for youth searching for stability and security on the streets. I've found great purpose in joining the Access of West Michigan Anti Racism Committee, and am honored to be serving as Chair of the Midtown Neighborhood Association.
