Producing Artistic Director of Breckenridge Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge, CO, the 50 year old innovative regional professional theatre. Producer of 7 main stage productions, year round professional classes and camps, and community engagement programs. Breckenridge Backstage Theatre (BBT) is the oldest year-round theatre company on the western slope. In 1976, the theatre incorporated as Summit County's first non-profit, with a desire to bring live performance to the community. The artistic vision has continued to evolve and over the years has been awarded with numerous Colorado Theatre Guild and True West Awards. In 2010, BBT received the prestigious Colorado Theatre Guild - Outstanding Regional Theatre Award. In 2012, the Breckenridge Town Council approved a $2.55 million renovation of the Breckenridge Theater. Construction on the building began in Spring 2015 and completed in June 2016. Today it serves as the company’s main performance space in addition to use of the 750 seat Riverwalk Theatre space as needed.

Co-founder and leader of TUTA Theatre’s artistic direction focusing on cultivating rarely produced international work and reinterpreting classics through an Eastern European lens. Program an annual season of 1-2 productions, 3-4 experimental labs, 3-4 salons, 1-2 presented productions, 1 gala, and 6-8 education offerings. Guide and curate a group of 12 company members and 7 associate members. Lead strategic planning, board development, and alignment with mission. Promote and mentor artists in TUTA’s unique approach to experimental and classical work with long incubation periods.Most recently adapted and directed the world premiere of HEDDA GABLER, a play with live music.

Led Emerald City Theatre’s artistic direction at the largest professional theatre for young audiences in Chicago, annually serving over 80,000 audience members with a 2.2-million-dollar operating budget. Planned and implemented mission and vision aligned annual programming of 5 productions for ages 0-15, development of 1-3 new works, and oversight of all education and community engagement programs. Spearheaded all season program planning, selection of new commissions, and artist policies and procedures. Oversaw all casting, contracting, and hiring aligning with current Chicago Theatre Standards set forward by Not in Our House. Served as half of the executive leadership team guiding company culture, strategic direction, and board development.

Led Emerald City Theatre’s education department annually producing, managing, and programming 75+ camps, 50+ classes, 50+ in school programs, and 50+ theatre birthday parties at over 25 locations for 3-13-year old youth. Managed over 4,000 students and their families each year. Supervised 3 full time staff, 1 part time, and 50+ faculty members. Produced educational support materials for 5 artistic productions serving over 80,000 audience members. Served as a member of the Senior Staff leading the overall company vision and direction.

Taught 150+ adult, youth, and teen 8-week improvisation classes and camps. Aligned weekly lesson plans to course goals of the overall program supporting teamwork, listening, accepting and building on others ideas, creativity, and confidence building. Served on the Faculty Youth Committee to provide feedback, expertise, and research during the launch of the training center’s Youth and Teen Programs.

Taught Improvisational Techniques annually to sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the High School Summer Institute (HSSI), a 3-week rigorous, hands-on creative college experience for students culminating in a final public performance for college credit. Substitute teacher of Improv Techniques 1-3 and Comedy Workshop for college students in the Fine and Performing Arts Department.
