After working for the SMCEW as a fellow for 10 months, I was hired on as a county employee to spearhead their Zero Energy Building Initiatives and other energy efficiency programs. As the main contact on all Zero Energy initiatives in the county I developed a Zero Energy Ready Strategic Plan, hosted Zero Energy Trainings and coordinated the online resources for the program website and county's Zero Energy Hotline. I am also the in house technical resource for our schools work with Prop 39. I handle pre-lighting audits of school districts, energy audit reviews and expenditure plan development.

Schools: I work in partnership with our school districts, PG&E and EcologyAction to assist schools in utilizing their Prop 39 funding for energy efficiency projects. I assist with pre lighting audits, expenditure plan creation and recommendations. Zero Net Energy: I am creating a Zero Net Energy Building Toolkit. This toolkit will provide customized resources for different types of citizens to help them reach Zero Net Energy goals. I am also putting on a Zero Net Energy workshop for local governments in 2015, which will work with our local cities and counties to develop concrete plans to reach Zero Net Energy Goals.
