Provide legal support in remortgage department.

Working in a busy legal office, I provide secretarial support across all disciplines but primarily act as PA to the commercial and residential property Partner. I have responsibility for the diary management of the property Partner and am the initial contact for the majority of his client calls, providing updates on the progress of their matters as required. I also conduct face to face client meetings and produce attendance notes. I open files adhering to money laundering procedures. I complete standard forms relating to commercial and residential property transactions including TR1 and TP1, SDLT forms, AP1 forms and also prepare Contracts for approval. I access the Land Registry site for obtaining documents and searches including official copies, documents referred to in the official copies, bankruptcy searches, land charges searches, OS1 and OS2 searches and electronic registrations. I order local, environmental and water and drainage searches online. I produce bills and completion statements and perform credit control tasks. I have also been responsible for my own matters under supervision of the Partner with regards to remortgage transactions.

Administrator: To provide administrative and secretarial support to the ICT Network Manager and ICT technical support to the whole school. I was required to deliver training sessions for whole staff and individuals regarding software systems including Microsoft Office products. I was the lead contact within school for any issues regarding the maintenance of the school’s management information database.Form Tutor (unqualified teacher position): To be responsible for the pastoral care of students within my form, 22 students with ages ranging from 11 to 16. I provided academic mentoring to these students and liaised with teaching staff and parents to ensure students were performing to their academic target levels. I was the first contact for parents and students needing to discuss problems relating to school and/or personal matters. I liaised with outside agencies including health services and social services as necessary. I also delivered and taught a set program of study to the form weekly.
