Muon Space is an end-to-end Space Systems Provider that designs, builds, and operates LEO satellite constellations delivering mission-critical data.Earth Intelligence integrates the physical sciences, aerospace engineering, software engineering data science and industry domain expertise to offer a dynamic and detailed understanding of the planet and human activity on it, aiding in the sustainable management of natural resources, enhancing safety and global security, and supporting the response to global environmental challenges like Climate Change. And now, I am happy to say that I am part of this great adventure.

After 10 years of truly grueling long hours and being on call 24/7 it was time for a break. Originally, I only wanted to take a short-term sabbatical but Tesla rejected my request. I then gave them six months’ notice and reminded the manager in charge at three months, one month, and two weeks. During my break I planned on traveling, reading, and gardening but it turns out that I am a doer not a break tacker. During my time off I have been very busy. Here are some of my high-lights:I ran for Mountain View/Los Altos School Board and was on the Santa Clara County ballot. I lost but I learned a lot and will run again in 2024.I volunteered at my child's High School.I volunteered with the PTA and am Co-Chair President of the Sustainability CommitteeI am also on the League of Woman Voters Board as VP of ProgramsI also took a nine-month course through the Mountain View City Commerce and graduated "Leadership Mountain View, Class of 2023"In January 2024 I also broke my leg in two places in a skiing accident and am now working on recovering. A broken leg only slowed me down for a few months. I will ski again!

During my time off I ran for Mountain View/Los Altos Unified School District Board, Graduated for Mountain View Commerce Leadership Program -Class of 2023, Co-President of the Los Altos PTA -Sustainability Committee, League of Woman Voters Vice President of Program Management, as well as, many volunteer hours within the Mountain View and Los Altos communities.

It was truly a 24/7 non-stop high pressure automotive experience with incredible technology and design capabilities with a focus on energy innovation. I was responsible for managing the supply chain of critical materials and components for the production of innovative and sustainable products, such as the Model S, Model 3, and Model Y through the full material life cycle.Managed material flow from point of origin to lineside installation, included tracking the logistics of shipments and resolving logistics issues to ensure production is never impacted. Insuring the suppliers had the most up to date demand plan to ensure the availability of product. Managed, lead and participated in many projects with cross functional teams for both short- and long-term solutions. Detailed processing of Engineering Change Orders from planning deliveries to product phase-outs and new product introduction to meet manufacturing needs with minimal exposure, optimal inventory levels while minimizing overall cost. Supply Chain Analysis to ensure optimum supplier performance including Purchase Order Variances, On-Time Delivery & Inventory Turns.

• Commodities specialist for electrical, mechanical, fabrication, refrigeration, optics, power supplies, hardware & software, custom assemblies, MRO, automotive & service support - for NPI and Production – • Managed critical high dollar commodities, while maintaining low inventory and managed JIT material• Implemented Supplier/Vendor survey program continue to improve supplier partnership and to encourage open communication.• Developed and documented procedures to ensure best practices within the department and the supply chain to improve results.
