When I was 53, I ran my first ever marathon. From couch potato to a 42k run in 14 months. I would be lying if I’d say it was a breeze. While I was running, I thought a lot about why on earth I felt the need to continue. Thankfully I started literally one more time than I wanted to quit…and these were plenty, I can assure you! But I didn’t give up, not during the training and not whilst running the marathon. Because that’s who I am…when I say I’ll do something, I will.That same tenacity was useful when I had my own companies, when I took a year off to take care of my dying father and while, after having been my own boss for 3 decades, getting my first job for an employer again. However, the entrpreneur in my wasn't happy with a 9 to 5 job so I decided to take the phrase 'open to new challenges' to another level and decided to go back to school and retrain myself in a completely new field. I am not yet ready to convey which field but stay tuned :)!However...if, in the mean time, you think you could do with my services...I am creative, thorough and analytical and I have a great deal of experience in many (administrative) processes.
