Business Support Assistant
CurrentI am responsible for coordinating the administration of application of Community lets and, as such, have in depth knowledge of policy within this area and in particular budget allocation, spend and let application procedures. My responsibility is to coordinate and provide decisions in the allocation process. The main element of my role within CLD is dedicated to Community Letting and required skills such as carrying out this role with credibility and professionalism, ensuring at all times that I am inclusive and respectful in allocation of lets. This role requires applying influencing and negotiation skills as priority lets were in high demand and consideration had to be applied to allocating appropriate lets within designated timescales. I am required to work under pressure and within tight timescales and consistently delivered positive results. I am very organised and have developed excellent skills in organising tasks and prioritising work, subsequent delegation of tasks within the team of several members of staff and I have excellent team awareness. Recently I have also taken on the administration support of Homeless Team/Housing Officers. This involves dealing with bed and breakfast bookings for emergency homeless referrals, preparing and paying invoices for accommodation and furniture storage for homes that require emergency assistance. I’ve also been responsible for the input of housing referrals and housing enquiries which I have found interesting. I am competent in Ash, RMMS, CRM Case Management, Fusion, NEC Housing, Supporting People's database, FMS Oracle, Itrent, Connect 2, Helping Hands, Saffron v7, Print & Post and NEC Housing, Fusion, 365 and Carefirst. I also have knowledge in issue of ID badges, Blue badges, PVG for temporary supply teaching, Raising invoices from Ash Debtors, and Common Housing Applications.
