Profile bio

About Jacqueline Yu

I am an art historian and administrator passionate about public-facing art advocacy. Fundamentally, I believe in the importance of art and its ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and perspectives in order to forge a radically better future. Therefore, in my work in cultural institutions, I strive to provide these transformative experiences to a wider, more inclusive audience by grappling with historical boundaries of access. I have years of experience in both the education and curatorial departments of various art museums, as well as galleries, libraries, publications, and arts non-profits. I am well-versed in research, writing, exhibitions, marketing, The Museum System (TMS), ArtLogic, ArtBase, administration, communications, and events programming. As an aspiring cultural professional, I seek opportunities that will not only enrich my skills and experience, but also allow me to demonstrate my endless enthusiasm and strong work ethic.
