Some of my responsibilities included but were not limited to working on public health interventions, community engagement, and research to address the long-term effects and lessons learned from the pandemic. The role encompassed collaboration with diverse stakeholders, implementing innovative solutions, and contributing to building more robust and adaptable systems in the post-pandemic era. I coordinated COVID-19 vaccines' access and availability to all eligible New Jersey residents. As a COVID-19 vaccine coordinator, my team and I worked hard to address vaccine hesitancy among the residents of New Jersey. We then registered and scheduled them to get vaccinated. We were able to overcome the barrier of vaccine hesitancy and got over 4 million people vaccinated within a period of six months. My duties in this role included:• Investigated and deployed optimal approaches for outreach and involving multi-marginalized populations in engagement efforts• Delivered findings through data analysis on COVID-19 prevention, testing, registration, and vaccine access to key stakeholders• Collaborated with healthcare providers in addressing issues with vaccine hesitancy in New Jersey communities by implementing targeted outreach programs designed to educate and inform residents about the safety and efficacy of vaccines• Coordinated logistics and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, ensuring timely delivery and proper storage per CDC guidelines • Achieved and exceeded the milestone of vaccinating 4.7 million individuals in New Jersey by coordinating efforts for the COVID-19 pandemic response
