I am now firmly engrossed in cybersecurity as part of my role at Digital Pathways; which involves business development & marketing of our products and services, as well as working with vendors, partners, suppliers and the Distribution Channel for all the best of breed solutions that we can offer our diverse range of customers at both SME & Enterprise level.The growth of cybersecurity is intriguing and exciting; (never thought I would say that about technology) my understanding and breadth of knowledge has grown considerably. I have now completed 3 Open University courses and am now looking at additional certifications and courses.As part of an award-winning company I am extremely excited about the future for both myself and Digital Pathways.Sales & Marketing are a passion of mine, as are people, food, fashion and business. This now firmly includes cybersecurity. Now officially a cyber geek!I have worked from a very tender young age and have a very varied background but fundamentally all of my work life has involved sales & marketing in one form or another.From starting out on a market stall on the famous Bury Market at the age of 14, a successful modelling career, bringing up two wonderful daughters, running a thriving and exhausting coffee shop, to name but a few, all before joining the corporate world of Telecoms at AT Communications.The whole of my career has involved sales and marketing, albeit in different forms, but this has provided me with my experience and knowledge today; as well as giving me the passion to keep learning and driving forward.“Every day’s a school day!” a friend used to say, and it absolutely is, learning and developing new skills, meeting people from all types of businesses; big and small.
