Hi, I’m Jacqueline Cook 👋🏻 I'm a recent recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40® for 2021, mom of three, and the Chief Operating Officer at Vendasta. We ranked on The Globe and Mail’s 2023 list of Top Growing Companies in Canada with 135% growth from 2020 to 2022 and on the 2022 list of Best Workplaces™ in Canada—so maybe you’ve heard of us!As COO, I’m responsible for the development and execution of Vendasta’s revenue and go-to-market strategy, with the core mandate of empowering Vendasta’s +60,000 partners to leverage its platform and marketplace. In doing so, we’ve helped over 5M small businesses thrive in their transition to digital. Something I’m especially proud of: When I helped lead Vendasta’s IPO process, resulting in an oversubscribed $120M private investment, I did it all with my newborn son by my side (or rather, in my arms). I also played an instrumental role in Vendasta’s $40M capital raise in 2018.I’m an alumnus of NEXT Canada, where I co-founded and was CEO of a smartphone-based platform for small businesses to customize their own loyalty rewards programs. I’m the founding Director of Recess Guardians and serve on the board of Co.Labs, Saskatchewan’s first technology incubator. I’ve been a speaker at events such as TEDx UofS and represented Canada at the 2010 G8 and G20 Summits, the 2010 APEC Summit in Japan, and at the 2011 G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit in France.I live in Saskatoon with my husband and three little ones. I’m engaged in my community as an active mentor, angel investor, and speaker in Canada’s startup landscape. I’ve been a recipient of CBC Saskatchewan's Future 40 under 40 and a YWCA Women of Distinction Award.
